Nearly 400,000 children live in poverty and cannot afford school supplies. School teachers spend their resources each year on school supplies for students who could never afford to provide for themselves. The School Tools program, provides backpacks filled with necessary school supplies for the children so that they can be better equipped to learn.

You can lead a group from your neighbourhood, church or corporation that is willing to roll up their sleeves and provide basic school supplies to help children who live in poverty in Haiti. When children have their own school supplies it builds self-esteem and it also frees up resources for other essentials such as food, medicine and utilities.
