Education in Haiti represents a heavy financial burden on many poor families, especially in rural Haiti. The average yearly cost to send a child to school in Haiti is $330.00. This includes enrollment fees, tuition, uniforms, books, shoes, and all other supplies. This fee eliminates all poor children from attending.

• $100.00 Provides: Books, notebooks, and a pair of sneakers.
As a result, an estimated 600,000 children are illiterate. To prevent the flow of children into child domestic servitude. For the last 8 years ARCF schooling ministry, has partnered at five Faith-based schools to overcome some of these varied challenges. These schools: Ecole La Jemmerais– Les Soeurs De la Charité de St-Hygniace– Ecole Homo Sapians– Centre de Formation de Cavaillon- Institution Chretienne de Siloe, provides full tuition for 150 students including all accessories and support of a home-group foster parents with food, and other necessities.
A recreational pavilion was built to serve the youth, the community and visitors on the 2 1/2 acres of land granted to ARCF by local authorities; this site is to build the Soveyo School Learning Center. Today, Custine, has become a much healthier village, and the community rejoices.
